The 2010 Frozen Four was being held at Ford Field this year. I knew it would be a fun event just because they built a hockey rink on top of the football field. I shot the semi-final game as well as the championship game. I was working for the Boston College Athletic Department and since they won the National Championship no need to talk about the semi-finals.

The #16 Ohio State Buckeyes were in town so I couldn’t pass down the opportunity. Little did I know would this be the best two days of shooting hockey that I have ever had! I covered #1 Notre Dame a few weeks ago and nothing compared to the big hitting Buckeyes of the Big Ten.

When I got to the destination the barn most burned to the ground and the fireman spent most of the time trying to get the flames and the smoke to die down. I fired off a few shots there then it was off to shoot #9 Notre Dame vs. Bowling Green Falcons hockey.
