Pure Barre Toledo is located on Central Ave and will soon be opening a location in Perrysburg, Ohio. I worked with the awesome team to create some promotional material to be used for marketing and advertising for the new space.
Pure Barre is a total body workout that uses a ballet barre and your own body weight. The goal is to work every muscle group to fatigue, while stretching in between to create a long lean physique. Classes are 55 minutes and focus on areas people struggle with most: seat, hips, thighs, abs, and arms. You do not need ANY dance experience to do Pure Barre, if you can hold onto a ballet barre, you can do it! It is a non-impact workout designed for people of all ages and fitness levels!

Jaume Plensa is one the world’s foremost sculptors working in the public space, with over 30 projects spanning the globe in cities such as Chicago, Dubai, London, Liverpool, Nice, Tokyo, Toronto and Vancouver.

Over the past 25 years, the artist has produced a rich body of work in the studio and the public realm. By combining conventional sculptural materials (glass, steel, bronze, aluminum) with more unconventional media (water, light, sound, video), and frequently incorporating text, Plensa creates hybrid works of intricate energy and psychology.

Plensa is most known for the Crown Fountain in Millennium Park in Chicago, where hundreds of faces show on the glass pillars with occasional water spitting out for everyone to enjoy on a hot Chicago day!

Over the last month I have been working with the Toledo Museum of Art documenting the installation of the Human Landscape that opening on June 17th in the grounds of the Musuem. The show consists of seven larger outdoor sculptures, including some show in the USA for the first time.

I first met Jaume in 2012 when he came to Toledo to install Spiegel which sits on the corner of Collingwood and Monroe Street. Being able to meet and work with such a world renowned  artists is truly an amazing experience. When I heard he would be returning to Toledo to give a talk I was extremley excited. He stayed in touch over the last several years when I would see his works in different cities that I would travel to.

Here are my favorite images, over the last month that the exhibition has been installed.
