National Signing Day is usually on the first Wednesday in February where it allows high school athletes to sign their National Letter of Intent to play a college sport at a school that offered them a scholarship.
I got the opportunity to work with the awesome team at the Players Tribune to photograph the Michigan Signing of the Stars Event.
Maddie & Bella Coffee Roaster is a local coffee shop located in downtown Toledo and downtown Perrysburg. I recently created some images for a few new food items they are going to be putting on the menu for customers to be able to purchase.
With Super Bowl LI (51) right around the corner, I was in Ada, Ohio working with the amazing team from Wilson Sporting Goods to document the process of making the first Super Bowl 51 football on the evening of the AFC and NFC Championship.
I ended 2016 in Miami, FL covering the 2016 Orange Bowl. Michigan vs Florida State at Hard Rock Stadium. The trip felt like it was four days even though I was only gone 24 hours. I left my house at 4:00am landed in Miami at 10:30am and grabbed lunch with a fellow photographer friend.

You may or may not know this, but On September 23 Snapchat changed it’s name to Snap Inc. and introduced Spectacles. Spectacles, are a pair of sunglasses with a built in camera that records 10-second snippets of video, and posts directly to your Snapchat Story.
Now, you may be wondering – what is Snapchat and why is it such a big deal? Snapchat is a social network messaging app that took off as a tool for disappearing photos. It now has 150 million active daily users globally.
Google had a similar concept as Snapchat called Google Glass which retailed for $1,200 and was officially retired in January of 2015.
Snapchat or Snap Inc. is trying to win over its younger demographic of 13-34 years old with the $130 pair of Spectacles. The CEO Evan Speigel calls the video-sharing sunglasses “a toy” but sees an upside to freeing his app from smartphone cameras.
Gabriel Dawe, a contemporary Mexican artist is world famous. His inndoor rainbows almost defy understanding, his work is made of hundreds of yards of embroidery thread on continuous loop.
The threaded installation is part of a series called “Plexus”—which is the word for the interlacing network of blood vessels and nerves that sustain the body.
Gabriel installed Plexus no. 35 at the Toledo Musuem of Art and it’s truly stunning when you walk into the Great Gallery.
