NFL: Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts

With the Lions, Browns and Bengals either playing away or having an off week I was in Indianapolis for the Tennessee Titans vs Indianapolis Colts game. Lucas Oil Stadium is quickly becoming one of my favorite stadiums in the NFL. It has a retractable roof which means light pockets! I don’t ever get them in Detroit because the roof doesn’t open.

I have been in a little bit of a slump lately and this took me to the top of a mountain. There is nothing better then shooting with nice light in a beautiful stadium.

Over the last two weeks I have been working with the Toledo Mud Hens documenting the transformation of outfield at Fifth Third Field into a grass mini-golf course. The idea originally came about when sports turf manager Jake Tyler  thought it would be fun to make a grass mini-golf course. NCAA Football: Indiana at Bowling Green

Since Nippert Stadium is under construction all Bearcats home games are being played at Paul Brown Stadium. Cincinnati Bearcats quarterback Gunner Kiel, who is a transfer from Notre Dame came to play and prove that he is a NFL caliber quarterback.

NCAA Football: Little Caesars Pizza Bowl-Bowling Green vs Pittsburgh

The Little Caesars Bowl also know as the Pizza Bowl, is played in Detroit, Michigan. I know most college athletes don’t think anything of Detroit and would rather be at a bowl game in Florida or California but the Little Caesars Bowl never disappoints. There are currently 11 NFL players who have played in the bowl game and this year there will be a few more added to the list. My main focus of the night was Pittsburgh Panthers defensive lineman Aaron Donald who is the brother of Archie Donald who I played football with at Toledo. It’s crazy how small the football community really is. Here is a random stat for you, there are only 1,700 players in the NFL.
