Burkett Restaurant Equipment & Supply hired me to photograph the first ever Customer Appreciation golf outing at Belmont Country Club. It was a great day to drive around the course and photograph some of Toledo best restaurant owners.

The Lights Before Christmas at the Toledo Zoo & Aquarium draws thousands of visitors each year to see the lights from the ground. But very few get an aerial view of the millions of lights that are installed for months in preparation.

I photographed the Lights Before Christmas from a helicopter to give a very unique vantage point.

I hope you enjoy the photographs. If you are interested in purchasing prints or digital rights to these images please contact me.

The day has finally come, the 56th running of the Daytona 500. After a week and a half of covering, practices, qualifying, Budweiser Duels, ARCA race, Camping World Truck Series, Xfinity Race it was time to shoot the Super Bowl of NASCAR. The Daytona 500!

I worked with three other photographers to cover the race, Peter Casey, Mike Dinovo and Jasen Vinlove. We arrived at the track at 8am, to avoid the traffic.

Due to lot happening the day before, we had to get out and make features around the track. Kyle Busch wouldn’t be racing in the Great American Race due to crashing in the Xfinity race and braking his leg. His brother Kurt, is suspended from NASCAR indefinitely.

I was assigned to cover storyline of Kurt and Kyle Busch. Showing, that the “Outlaw” won’t be racing and signs showing support of Kyle since he had surgery on his leg.

Please enjoy the photos.

NASCAR: Goodyear Blimp

I was offered the opportunity to go for a ride in the Goodyear Blimp during an off day from shooting NASCAR practice at the track. But just my luck, due to high winds my flight was canceled. I was even reschedule for a few days later and it was again cancelled. But the PR guys at Goodyear still allowed me to shoot some cool images of the blimp while it was on the ground.

I have one more opportunity to go up so we shall see!

A week late, but never to late share images from one of the most talked about catches of the 2014 NFL Season. I travel to Green Bay, Wisconsin to shoot the NFC Divisional game between the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers. It was a little homecoming for me as I got to see a few former teammates prior to the game: Barry Church, and Jayrone Elliot.

Below are some of the best images of the game include the famous Dez Bryant “CATCH or NO CATCH” photo.

I setup lights in the street and people come get their portrait taken. The images below are the best Zombies from the night. Some of them are super creepy. I hope you enjoy!

NCAA Football: Virginia Tech at Ohio State

Last night I kicked off sixth year covering college football and the Virginia Tech at Ohio State game lived up to the hype. Unranked Virginia Tech traveled to Columbus to face the #5 Buckeyes who lost senior quarterback Braxton Miller for the season due to a shoulder injury.

I witness an amazing sunset, a LeBron James sighting and high tempo offenses battle it out. Virginia Tech’s quarterback Michael Brewer handled the 107,000 screaming fans like he practices in the atmosphere ever day.

I am about to board a flight to Tampa to shoot the Carolina Panthers at Tampa Buccaneers games, so enjoy the photos.

NCAA Football: Little Caesars Pizza Bowl-Bowling Green vs Pittsburgh

The Little Caesars Bowl also know as the Pizza Bowl, is played in Detroit, Michigan. I know most college athletes don’t think anything of Detroit and would rather be at a bowl game in Florida or California but the Little Caesars Bowl never disappoints. There are currently 11 NFL players who have played in the bowl game and this year there will be a few more added to the list. My main focus of the night was Pittsburgh Panthers defensive lineman Aaron Donald who is the brother of Archie Donald who I played football with at Toledo. It’s crazy how small the football community really is. Here is a random stat for you, there are only 1,700 players in the NFL.
