Review: Nanuk 945 Phantom 4 Case

A few weeks ago, I reached out to Nanuk who makes professional protective cases about getting my hands on the Nanuk 945 case they would be releasing soon for the DJI Phantom 4. The Phantom 4 does come with a foam case, but it’s not strong enough to be shipped or checked when traveling.

I have over a dozen Pelican Cases for all of my gear, but they are very heavy and a pain to lug around airports. Nanuk has fixed that issue with that innovative and lightweight design made for so many different types of cameras and audio equipment.

Each case is lightweight, rugged and waterproof, all cases are IP67 rated, which means they can withstand ANYTHING!

The best part about this case is you don’t have to take the propeller blades off you Phantom to put it in the case, it has foam holders to keep them in place when traveling.

Another one of my favorite parts of the cases are the Powerclaw latching system. It keeps the case super tight, but still very easy to open.

When I put my DJI Phantom 4 drone, batteries, controller, and iPad in the case I thought it would be heavy and hard to lug around. Boy was I wrong, it’s still very light and easy to carry.

So next time you need a case check out Nanuk Protective Cases. I know I will be ditching all of my Pelican Cases to upgrade to the best cases in the market!
