Gabriel Dawe, a contemporary Mexican artist is world famous. His inndoor rainbows almost defy understanding, his work is made of hundreds of yards of embroidery thread on continuous loop.
The threaded installation is part of a series called “Plexus”—which is the word for the interlacing network of blood vessels and nerves that sustain the body.
Gabriel installed Plexus no. 35 at the Toledo Musuem of Art and it’s truly stunning when you walk into the Great Gallery.
