Halloween is right around the corner, so what better way to get you prepared then my top 21 photos from the 2016 Adams Street Zombie Crawl. This is my fourth year working with the awesome team over at Toledo.com to make this happen.
Supposedly 15,000 people where in attendance this year it was by far the biggest crowd I have ever seen. I had two setups, one was for a group of friends and the other was for the “HALL OF FAME” where I would pick people who went all out on their costume to shoot a dramatically light portrait of them.
Anyway, can’t wait until next year and here is my Top 21 favorite portraits! Enjoy.

Downtown Toledo opening a new coffee shop called Rustbelt Coffee located at 119 N. Ontario Street. I was introduced to the owner of the coffee shop Grant several months ago by Lance Roper of Actual Coffee who provides all the coffee for Rustbelt.
Grant reached out to me about a week ago about shooting some stylized photos for their new fall drink menu they would be launching soon.

Homestead-Miami Speedway, where champions are crowned. This is the third year in a row I was covering the NASCAR Championship race. This time for NBC Sports, It was a little different than covering the race for an editorial client. The images were going to be used across social media to share images to fans during the race weekend. It allowed me to have a little more creative freedom as to what I photographed.

The Battle of I-75…. The Toledo Rockets traveled 25 miles south to take on the Bowling Green Falcons. Going into the game I knew it would be a high tempo, back and fourth type of game. The Rockets struck first blood then took control of the rest of the game.
Congratulations to head coach Matt Campbell and the rest of the team for defeating Bowling Green for the last 6 years.
Here are my favorite images from the game.

Toledo Rockets are still climbing the AP Poll. This past weekend they were ranked 22nd after moving up three spots from the previous week. On a gloomy, cold fall afternoon at the Glass Bowl. The Toledo Rockets showed just how powerful their offense is. Quarterback Phillip Ely passed for 327 and 4 touchdown passes and even special teams got into the end zone when Chase Murdock blocked a field goal and returned it 45 yards for a touchdown.
After the game was over I had to head down to Ohio State for the Penn State game at 8pm. Be on the look out for that blog post later this afternoon.
Enjoy the photos.

College football is finally back! With a lot of big games opening weekend, I was in Ypsilanti, MI covering the Old Dominion vs Eastern Michigan game for the Old Dominion Athletic Department. I really enjoy working directly for schools, it allows me to be creative as I want and I don’t have to worry about transmitting images on deadline. Just a few for the website and a small photo gallery.
Special thanks to Tina Price and Eric Bohannon at Old Dominion for hiring me to create some awesome images for them. Looking forward to working with both of you in the future.
Here are my favorite images from the 38-34 win over Eastern Michigan.
