Let’s take a second to talk about Snapchat. Every day, I’m running into people who say, “I don’t understand how to use Snapchat or why I should be on it.” I’m going to help you understand why you or your brand should be on Snapchat and killing it.

Four years ago, Snapchat was created by Evan Spiegel at Stanford University. At the time, it was known as the “sexting app.” That’s how most people still think of Snapchat.

Fast forward to today. There are over 200 million active users and 7 billion videos created daily on the platform. The White House is on Snapchat and Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is utilizing Snapchat to reach a younger demographic. Advertising on Snapchat is going to explode in 2016. I am a huge aviation geek, from hot air balloons, small air crafts, drones and even the Goodyear Blimp.  In 2015, I went up in the Goodyear Blimp for the Daytona 500 for almost 8 hours and I was hooked! After spending that much time in an aircraft that is extremely cramped you learn just about everything you possibly can about the aircraft from the amazing pilot.

I have stayed in touch with the public relations team for Goodyear since then. I was suppose to go up for the NASCAR Miami race, but due to bad weather it never happened. Fast forward to January of this year, I was suppose to travel to Akron where the Goodyear Blimp is built to get a sneak peak of the construction, but I was out of town. A few weeks ago, I got an email inviting me to a VIP event to come check out the recently finished Wingfoot 2 Zeppelin Goodyear Blimp. This is the second style of the Zeppelin built in Akron.
