After covering NFL Playoffs I got the opportunity to switch gears and shoot the NHL All Star game in Columbus. I don’t shoot much hockey so it made for an interesting weekend. My goal going into the event was to come out with some artsy images from the weekend.
Below are 36 frames shot with a Canon 1DX and a 70-200mm lens of the Dez Bryant ‘Catch or No Catch’ during the NFC Divisional game against the Green Bay Packers. There are a few frames that are out of focus, but the sequence shows the entire catch to him hitting the ground.
A week late, but never to late share images from one of the most talked about catches of the 2014 NFL Season. I travel to Green Bay, Wisconsin to shoot the NFC Divisional game between the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers. It was a little homecoming for me as I got to see a few former teammates prior to the game: Barry Church, and Jayrone Elliot.
Below are some of the best images of the game include the famous Dez Bryant “CATCH or NO CATCH” photo.
The NFL playoffs are finally here! The AFC Wildcard was in Indianapolis as the Colts hosted the Bengals. Marvin Lewis is 0-6 in the playoffs and Andy Dalton struggles in the playoffs, so I had my money on Andrew Luck and the Colts sending the Bengals packing.
The first half of the game, was filled with big plays and lots of emotion, but as the game started to wind down the Colts where in control just running the ball which made for a slow ending to the game.
Enjoy the photos. Next weekend I am heading to Green Bay for the Cowboys vs Packers game.
Following the Lions Bears game in Chicago I headed to Cincinnati to shoot the Denver Broncos vs the Cincinnati Bengals. The Broncos were on a 4 game winning streak, which meant the Bengals had to show their worth and knock off Peyton Manning.
The game made for some awesome images except for the constant rain during the entire second half. It was still an excellent game to shoot. I
I am heading to Indianapolis this weekend to shoot the Bengals vs Colts in the AFC Wild-Card Round.
I traveled to Chicago to cover the Detroit Lions vs Chicago Bears game at Solider Field. It always nice to shoot a team who you shoot just about every weekend in their away uniforms. It gives my archive some variety for potential image usage for the 2015 NFL preview magazines.
New Jersey Institute of Technology defeated the University of Michigan 72-70 for the biggest win in their program. Enjoy!
For the fifth year in a row, I was in Detroit shooting the Chicago Bears vs Detroit Lions game. This game is usually a staple on the NFL schedule, but the Bears aren’t at the top of their game this year so the Lions had no problem handing the a “L” for the game.
For those who have been following my photography career over the years, you know I don’t shoot much NCAA Basketball or NBA. Every once in a while a SID from a school will reach out to me to document a game for them. The Campbell Fighting Camels asked if I would document their game against Ohio State for them.
