NASCAR: Food City 500


Bristol Motor Speedway is known as the fastest half mile on the NASCAR Circuit. It’s one of my favorite tracks, it’s small, loud and holds 160,000 people. Unlike most NASCAR tracks the teams work in a garage area, but at Bristol their cars are line up along pit lane working out in the open. After a few rain delays they finally raced at night, which it my favorite place to night race. Enjoy the photos.

PGA: WGC - Cadillac Championship-Final Round

The WGC Championship at Doral which is also known as the Blue Monster due to all of the water around the course, is where the top players in the world come to battle it out for the WGC Championship Trophy. It was a long weekend, but I enjoyed every minute of it. I am very thankful for my editors, that allowed me to cover this event. Here are my favorite photos from the weekend.

With 32 days until Toledo Mud Hens Opening day, sports turf manager Jake Tyler doesn’t have much time to get the grass perfectly mowed and the dirt soft. So Jake, had to figure out a way to melt all of the snow in the infield so he can get to work. So why not cover the infield with the tarp and blow hot air into the tarp to melt all of the snow.

With the current air temperature being 12 degrees and inside of the tarp being 72 degrees, which caused the snow to melt 4 inches in just 3 hours. ┬áIt’s something you just don’t see to often which made for some interesting pictures.
