NCAA Football: Little Caesars Pizza Bowl-Bowling Green vs Pittsburgh

The Little Caesars Bowl also know as the Pizza Bowl, is played in Detroit, Michigan. I know most college athletes don’t think anything of Detroit and would rather be at a bowl game in Florida or California but the Little Caesars Bowl never disappoints. There are currently 11 NFL players who have played in the bowl game and this year there will be a few more added to the list. My main focus of the night was Pittsburgh Panthers defensive lineman Aaron Donald who is the brother of Archie Donald who I played football with at Toledo. It’s crazy how small the football community really is. Here is a random stat for you, there are only 1,700 players in the NFL.

NFL: Baltimore Ravens at Detroit Lions

Going into my 7th football game, I was having high hopes that this game was going to be a high scoring battle. But it came down to the kicker. Being a place kicker my self, it’s always good to see a a fellow kicker score all the points. It’s even better when you can document a special moment in a friends life. I use to kick with Justin when we were both in college down in Abingdon, VA with our kicking coach Doug Blevins. Enjoy!

NCAA Football: Big Ten Championship-Michigan State vs Ohio State

Following the MAC Championship in Detroit, I headed over to Indianapolis for the Big 10 Championship between the #2 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes and Michigan State Spartans. Everyone was expecting Ohio State to come into the game and take away any chance Michigan State had, but Michigan State came to battle. They wanted to show the entire country they deserved to be in Indy.

The game was loud and full of intensity which made for some awesome photos! Enjoy!

NCAA Football: Louisville at Cincinnati

Teddy Bridgewater is considered the most pro-ready among the draft-eligible quarterbacks, he threw for 255 yards and three TD passes; two of the scoring tosses came in a six-minute span in the fourth quarter in which Bridgewater took over and showed why NFL teams covet his talents.

I also learned last night he is one of the most humble college athletes I have been able to cover. He is extremely close with his mother who is hugging him in the picture above.
