The 2012 World Series finally arrived in Detroit. I haven’t done a lot of baseball this year, but I was fortunate enough to cover the NLDS in Cincinnati and now the World Series. For game three I arrived around 3:00pm to find parking, pick up credentials and get all set up.

Prior to the game I headed out to shoot some feature photos.

For the start of game three they had a giant American Flag in the outfield during the National Anthem (see above). For the rest of the game, I would be shooting elevated above third base on the concourse. Not much action happened during game three. The only photo I liked was this-tilt shift photo of Detroit Tigers outfield Delmon Young.

The Giants took game three.

On to Sunday. Before game four, I had to shoot the Seattle Seahawks at Detroit Lions.

For game four I would yet again head out and shoot features. But before I did, I shot  Commissioner of Major League Baseball ”Bud“ Selig.
