After walking 14.5 miles the day before, I needed a day to relax. I didn’t have anything scheduled to shoot so I spent most of the day in the MPC just hanging out and working on some images from the previous days.
Right when I was about to leave to head back to the hotel a read a tweet saying there was smoke coming from Olympic Stadium. I hurried out there to see what was going on, but by the time I arrived it was extinguished.
Before I headed back to the hotel, I stopped at Liverpool Street Underground Station to see the daily madness. On the way, I saw a women reading a newspaper at the Moorgate Station.
Here is a group of people as they were checking the arrival/departure board at Liverpool Station.
I noticed when I walked outside a cab stand, and caught a quick shot of it.
I walked around the corner and people where playing table tennis in the middle of an open area which I thought was very strange.
After the quick stop at Liverpool, I was finally heading back to my hotel. I laid down for a nap to recharge before checking out the London night life with my co-worker, Mark Rebilas.
This bar called O’Neils we stopped was packed! NOT!
After a few drinks and the bar kicking out because they were closing at 12:30. I think it’s very lame how places so early in London. Especially with the Olympics being in the city. After I am done shooting at night I don’t leave until 12am and by the time I get back to my hotel to try and find food everything is closed.
It was time to explore another bar, so we walked a few blocks to a place called Lexington’s. Again they were closing at 1:15am. Ordered a few drinks and we were on our way.
On the way home there was this giant pile of trash on the sidewalk, which makes London feel like New York. There is such a large consumption of trash the garbage trucks just can’t handle it.
That wraps up a boring day and a shitty London Night life!

“That wraps up a boring day and a shitty London Night life!”
Here’s a word you might hear a lot of you carry on disrespecting your hosts like that.
