I started my weekend shooting the Bulls Cavs game Friday night on ESPN. Being a ESPN game there are twice as many people on the baseline and ESPN camera crew every where. I really wasn’t to excited to be shooting the Cavs, I was all pumped up to be shooting the Big East Championship between the Cincinnati Bearcats and Pittsburgh Panthers the next day in Pittsburgh.
I was walking from the media parking lot to the media entrance and I fired off a few exterior photos of Quicken Loans Arena.

Once I was all set up in the media room I headed towards the top of the arena to shoot a overall.

Back on the court… LeBron was doing a little ritual of his by throwing a whole rack of basketballs from half court underhand seeing how many he can make.

The last couple of balls on the rack he picked up and looked like he was about to play dodge ball and throw them at his teammates.

Right before player introductions, the players run through a tunnel of little kids which is sponsored by Nike.

LeBron is always called last and the crowd goes wild.

The Cavs huddled up… I had to hurry up and get to my position to shoot LeBrons chalk throw. I have done it a few different ways and I am still looking for something different each and every time.

I hustled back to my marked spot on the court and got to work covering the game. If you know anything about basketball or the NBA or even LeBron James you know how it works… So here are the rest of the photos from the game.

After the game I spent the night with a friend and I woke up at 6am to make the 4 hour drive to Pittsburgh to shoot the Pittsburgh Panthers vs. Cincinnati Bearcats game in the snow.
