The 2010 Frozen Four was being held at Ford Field this year. I knew it would be a fun event just because they built a hockey rink on top of the football field. I shot the semi-final game as well as the championship game. I was working for the Boston College Athletic Department and since they won the National Championship no need to talk about the semi-finals.

I got to Ford Field at 5pm after I got done covering the Cleveland Indians at Detroit Tigers across the street. As soon as I got set up in the media room I saw a Boston College equipment manager sharpening skates.

Working directly for athletic departments allows me access to locker rooms and stuff you don’t see every day. Before the team arrived at the stadium I shot some general photos of the locker room all set up.

One thing I saw that was very unique was this big Boston College flag that has ever date and score from the games they won on the road.

Once the team arrived I followed a few players around and watched them warm up and play around with a soccer ball. Once they camera arrived they were all showing off and they even offered me to join into the action.

Once the game was underway and a majority of people were in their seats I headed to the top of the stadium to do a overall to show how the rink was built on top of the field.

Now that the game is underway I am going to let the photos do all of the talking.
